The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) was the very first sponsor of the Program. They are directly responsible for the attendance of Dayson Bird of George Gordon First Nation.
Dayson, who is a veteran of the program, had a great season last year. He accumulated 35 points in 21 games for his Midget B Tigers which was good enough for him to place third in league scoring. He also put up 4 points in 2 playoff games. With SIGA’s support, Dayson is continuing what he started last year in the program which resulted in a nearly 20 point increase from his previous year. He is a very disciplined young man who shows up every day to put the work in for his success.
We are very grateful for SIGA’s support in making this a possibility.

Bergens Auto Body is also one of our original sponsors. They have contributed enormously to our program in the form of developing and producing our jerseys as well as connecting us to Global News in which we were featured in May of 2019.
Jon Bergen’s son, Bostin, is attending the Program for the first time. He hails from Muscowpetung First Nation and we look forward to helping him develop as a hockey player.

Taylor Toyota is one of the first companies to step up and sponsor the Program. They have directly contributed to the attendance of one of our First Nation Athletes, Elias Cochrane.
Elias captained his Bantam A Cougars team to a League Championship last year leading the team with 37 points in 24 games including 13 points in 7 games during the playoffs. Hailing from Keeseekoose First Nation, Elias is a terrific hockey player with a bright future ahead of him.
We are very fortunate and grateful that a company like Taylor Toyota is helping to invest in his hockey development.
